What it's about: This book is the best book I have ever read or heard of in my life! There are two characters that are people, the rest are animals and plants. I like this book because it is set as diary and is about recycling. I also like flowers so I loved it when I saw some daffodils, well red ones anyway! I read a very funny part eight times (it was about a tree in a coat and sunglasses)! In the book Spud wants to become a 'greenie' and recycle and all through the year. He does things a real 'greenie' does.

This is the best book I have read in my life and I give it a score of 100 out of 10 because the book is written to be a diary about him recycling and becoming a 'greenie'. I would love to read this over and over again. I would recommend this book for children of all ages.
