It was really difficult to choose a winner so I asked my friend Emma of 'Emma's Cakes' to help.

First prize goes to Jemima who is a member of Kingsbridge library. Jemima is 7 years old and designed me this delicious cake in the shape of a party hat. Great going Jemima - next time I say I'm going to "eat my hat"..., I'll be able to eat this one!

Melissa sent me along this idea for my World Book Day cake.

Olivia sent me this crazy cake.

I imagined it as a globe, a bit like a planet for world book day, with everyone having a party. Olivia is 7 and goes to Stoke Fleming library.

Here is a colourful design for a cake from Arthur, age 9 who goes to Honiton library. I loved this but Emma and I thought it might be difficult to make. Still worth a Goody Bag though!
