Your local library is a great source of information about the area where you live:

• Posters and leaflets promoting local events and activities
• Details of local organisations, clubs and societies
• Information about local services including bus timetables
• Sources of information about the history of your area
• Ordnance survey maps, street maps, and local development plans

Note on electoral registers

Following changes in legislation, most libraries no longer receive a copy of the electoral register. If you wish to consult the register please contact the Electoral Registration Office at your local District Council.
