Torrington Reading Group meets once a month on a Monday morning at 11 am (usually the 1^st Monday of the month) in the children’s Library at Torrington….consequently we are open to interruptions from young users. We have been running since October 2002. We all read and discuss one book, decided by the group. We are predominantly female but not from want of trying to secure male participants. Numbers vary from 9 to 13 at a meeting - they are a busy lot here in Torrington. Unfortunately we offer no refreshments but are undeterred by such deprivation and always have an enthusiastic discussion on the chosen book. New members are very welcome.
