The group began late in 2004 when a local author came to visit the library and talk about her experiences of getting her book published. As so often happens when readers get together, they began to talk about books, their likes and dislikes, and soon a new Reading Group was formed.

Meetings take place on the last Friday of the month from 5 - 7pm. The group generally reads the same book, chosen by mutual agreement. If you're interested in joining the discussions, contact library staff for details of the next meeting.
