The Thursday Morning Group started in November 2003 and has read and argued its way through some wonderful books since then! A choice of two titles is usually offered, and everyone is welcome to recommend a favourite. The group has also hosted visits from local authors David North and Julian Stockwin.
The Monday Evening Group was started in October 2004 in response to pleas from readers who are at work all day. In addition to reading the books chosen by the group, they also shadowed the Richard and Judy Best Read in 2005.
The Thursday Evening Group has only just started, but we are already full with 11 members so there is a waiting list. The group has started by reading Ann Cleeves 'Raven Black'.
