This long running group chooses its books from Catalogues and reviews both large print books and spoken word. Each group members reviews at least one title and then reports back at the monthly session. After the monthly meeting a paper copy of the reviews is produced and distributed amongst the group members and is made available, at the library counter, for anyone who is interested.
At present the group has an average of 12 members, however, there are always more attendees for special events.
In the past the group has worked in partnership with the Special Services Unit.
Books read include: The Talented Mr Ripley by Patricia Highsmith, Second Wind by Dick Francis, and The Waiting Land by Dervla Murphy.
