With well over a million books to choose from in Devon’s 50 libraries, there’s something for everyone – but with all that variety readers can sometimes find it difficult to choose. Promotions – of literary prizes, books in the media or just themed collections – give readers the chance to try something new. The promotion will point the way to websites containing background information and author details, and there’s often an opportunity to see what other readers thought of a book, and to add one’s own comments.
