Title:Half term - FabLab 'Build a Glider' Workshop

Description: In association with FabLab Plymouth we are offering workshops designed to give young people and families a flavour of what FabLabs can offer using digital technologies such as 3D printing, laser cutting, 3D scanning and 3D design. Design, construct and fly a laser cut wooden glider. Use 3D design software and the 3D printer to develop parts such as a nose and propeller to improve the flight of the glider which you will take home. All equipment, materials and tuition will be provided.
Audience:Suitable for 9-16 year olds

Description: In association with FabLab Plymouth we are offering workshops designed to give young people and families a flavour of what FabLabs can offer using digital technologies such as 3D printing, laser cutting, 3D scanning and 3D design. Using Makey Makey kits, you will turn everyday objects into musical instruments using basic circuits and programming. Selecting from a wide range of objectives you will programme them to play a musical tune. All equipment, materials and tuition will be provided.

Description: It's not a race, it's not a test. Simply choose the books you like and when you have read them, chat to your local librarian about them, up to 4 books at a time. You are awarded a badge when you have read 10, 25, 50 and 75 books plus stickers at 40, 50 and 90 books. When you have finished your reading trail of 100 books you will get a special certificate, a gold badge and a 5 book token!
