Title: Bounce and Rhyme

Description: Bring your baby or toddler to our popular bounce and rhyme session. We sing songs and nursery rhymes, bounce and shout and generally have a great time!. The activities help develop confidence, co-ordination, listening and social skills in your child and are a great chance to give them some fun exercise.
Audience:0-3 years with carers please.

Description: A book group for parents at which children are welcome
Audience:Are you a parent who would like to be part of a book group, but don't know what you would do with your children? Bring them with you! Books with buggies is a friendly book group at which parents can talk about the latest book group book and children can play with the toys provided.

Title: Bright Lights Writing Group
Date:1st and 3rd Thursday of each month
Time: 18:00-20:00
Description: Welcome to the Passmore Edwards 'Bright Lights' writing group. Here at Newton Abbot library we are an evolving group for all writers. We offer friendship and encouragement, constructive listening, interest and enjoyment. Writing is something you do on your own - it doesn't have to be lonely. Share the experience at the writing group meetings, collaboration is important. We believe that support facilitates our growth as writers. Description: This reading group is run at the Passmore Edwards Centre, Newton Abbot. Refreshments are available. We have also run 'book into film' nights, where we watch the film of the book to see how it compares.

Description: Join the fun at your local library. Collect your Bear's Reading Adventure book and enjoy reading the story! Every time you come to the library, collect 1 of 10 stickers to fill the gaps in your book.

Bookings: No booking required. Just come in to the library and ask for a Bear's Reading Adventure book

Title: Book Track
Date:Anytime
Time: During Library opening hours
Description: Choose the books you like and when you have read them, chat to your local librarian about up to 4 of them. You are awarded a badge when you have read 10, 25, 50 and 75 books plus stickers at 40, 60 and 90 books. When you have finished your reading trail of 100 books you will get a special certificate and a gold badge!
Audience:Children aged 6 and above.
Cost: Free
Bookings: No need to book, just bring your first 4 books in to your local library.
