Description: Come along to Code Club at Exeter Library. Projects are easy to follow step-by-step guides which help children learn Scratch, HTML & CSS and Python by making games, animations, and websites. Description: Come along to Exeter Library’s Language Café and meet with others wanting to use their French, German, Spanish and Italian conversation skills. We are inviting anyone with skills in other languages to come along and see what goes on... there may be others keen to chat with you. A little philosophy about our Language Café meet up… They are not lessons so some (even if basic) knowledge of the languages is required to participate. You don’t have to come to the whole session, feel free to come and go as you wish. It is informal so come prepared to grab a drink and have a go at chatting about things of common interest either in large or small groups. Title: The MVP : Think it. Make it. 3d Print it.

Description: What is a Minimum Viable Product (MVP)? Before you spend too long planning and researching your business idea, you should get out and talk to potential customers. Ideally with an MVP which will help them understand your idea, that you can use to test and gather feedback. Start to consider what your MVP looks like and then think about how you could make it. From the explainer video to a prototype model, this talk is in Fab Lab Devon and will introduce you to some of the kit you could use (3D Printer, Laser Cutter, Vinyl Cutter & Dye Sublimantion printer) to make your MVP.

Title: Get More Out of Social Media with Management Tools

Description: This workshop will look at how to be more effective and efficient with using social media for business. The more platforms you use the more time and effort it takes. The answer is to use social media management tools like Hootsuite and Buffer. We will look at how to effectively use Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn with Hootsuite and Buffer so that it saves you time in posting to more than one platform and allows time management with scheduling of posts. With social media also becoming much more visual based we will also look at tools like Pablo that provide free use of stock images to make your posts more visually appealing and engaging for your followers.

Description: This one hour workshop will introduce you to canva.com. A free online graphics tool which helps you create beautiful designs + documents for your business. With Canva's drag-and-drop feature and professional templates for presentations, social media banners, posters, booklets and logos you can design consistently stunning graphics without the need to hire in a design agency. This workshop will be spend 30 minutes looking at the different layouts and tools, followed by 30 minutes of hands on learning where you can create your own design with a self confessed Canva convert on hand to help.
