Title:Active Life Active Mind - Dementia Friends

Description: A free information session for all which will give you an understanding of dementia and the small things we can all do to make a difference. The Friends of Seaton Library will be providing refreshments.

Title:Active Life Active Mind - The Secret Garden
Date:Tuesday 17 October and Tuesday 31 October
Time: 10:00 - 12:00
Description: Behind the library, there is a sadly neglected patch of land which we think could be turned into a welcoming, beautiful space for both people and wildlife. We will be making a start on creating this haven during October and would love those who are able to join us for some digging and weeding - the work is pretty strenuous at this stage and you will need to wear old clothes and bring your own gardening tools. It would also be great to have someone to make us cups of tea!

Description: Terrified of computers? Our friendly volunteer-led taster sessions could help you get over your fear and stop you feeling that you are being left behind by all things digital. You will work one-to-one with a volunteer who will help you learn what you need to know to take advantage of the Digital Age
Audience:Anyone who would like to get to grips with the basics of using I.T.
