Here's a neat story from Ruth, age 9 who goes to Kingsbridge library. Ruth belongs to the Kingbridge Bookworms, and I'll be featuring this new club next time on my Book Club page - so watch out for that.
Ruth has just got into books and reading in a big way. She decided to sit down at her computer and write her own story. 
Here is the result with Ruth's brilliant illustrations! Hope you all like it as much as I did. Great work Ruth!

Not long ago there was a caterpillar but this was AMAZING! It could run around the world in one minute and this amazing caterpillar could run around the forest in ten seconds. This caterpillar, whose name was Spiky, lived with lots of other animals. One day he decided to go for a walk. He met another amazing caterpillar. This amazing caterpillar could do more amazing things than Spiky. This caterpillar could jump up into the sky. He could stay there for twenty years because he was amazing.
But they both played together in the forest. Spiky couldn’t do some of the things that the other caterpillar did but anyway they still liked each other. Spiky taught the other caterpillar some other amazing things. They both could jump to a top of a tree and stay there for two years. They could jump over a house very quickly and they could sit on top of both the sun and moon.
