The children from Newts Bookclub are taking part in a global scheme for reading and writing. Here's what they've been up to...

As part of the worldwide Flat Stanley Project we’ve made lots of Flat Stanley's and we will be swapping them with schools all around the world. We fold him up and put him in an envelope, making sure he has a supply of his favourite egg sandwiches and milk to keep him happy on the journey! We’ll be hosting Flat Stanley's from other schools and groups and writing and receiving letters, postcards, badges and all kinds of fun things. Each of our ‘Newts’ has made a Flat Stanley and so far we have sent Flat Stanley to the Isle of Wight and even California U.S.A!
