Challenge 1
The first ever M@x’s Book Club Challenge was to design a robot librarian, thinking about what tasks it would do and how it would do them. Thanks to all the clubs who entered I really enjoyed looking at your fabulous designs and finding out what their robots would do. See all the other robots that were entered.
The winning robot librarian was designed by Newts of Newton Abbot Library – Well done to them!
Their robot has lots of different gadgets and would be able to do lots of different things. I particularly like the belt with never ending craft materials and sweets and it looks like a very happy robot with a big friendly smile. You can even search the library catalogue from a small screen on it – wow!
The Newts have won 2 free cinema tickets each, given to them by Scott Cinemas!
How brilliant is that! I wonder what films they will go and see?
