Our Services, Aims and Policies

Research Service at North Devon Record Office

The Research Service at North Devon Record Office has been discontinued.  This is due to recent budget cuts and the need to rationalise the work of the archive service.

However, we will continue to deal with Freedom of Information requests and these will be dealt with through our general enquiry service.  There will be a charge for these enquiries at the rate of £15 per 30 minutes and £30 per hour.

We thank customers who have used the Research Service in the past and regret that we are unable to deal with any further genealogical, historical or property-related research requests.

Further research of this kind is now being undertaken by the North Devon Athenaeum staff, and private researchers.  Details of these can be obtained as follows:
