Men And Bits Of Paper (the history of Buckland Filleigh)
Millennium: A Thousand Years of Written History
Rights of Way: The Archival Evidence
Sea-Life and Labour: Glimpses into Bideford's Past
Seals: The Dangly Bits on Documents
Sources for Village History: Bratton Fleming
The Bible Christians
Time and the Land (local farming in the early 20th century)
Loan and provision of exhibitions
These exhibitions, and others, can be rented out at the rate of £25 for 3 exhibition boards (each board being roughly A1 size), and £50 for 6 boards. We are also able to prepare exhibitions on any given subject, provided we have sufficient material and enough notice is given, at the same rates.
3. Provision of original documents for outside exhibition
For reasons of security, we do not provide original documents for display outside the Record Office.
However, we will permit depositors to temporarily withdraw their own documents for exhibition purposes, provided that proof is given that the documents will be kept in safe and secure conditions.
Safe and secure conditions for the display of original documents are detailed in British Standard 5454.
