Events

March

2nd March – 27th A Sense of Place. Walkway Gallery, Exeter Phoenix, Gandy Street, Exeter

Pupils from West of England School (for young people with little or no sight) exhibit prints of maps made with Double Elephant Print Workshop. Inspired by maps from the Devon Record Office, the children have been exploring their personal routes around the school and the surrounding areas.

Deaf Heritage Month- Devon

Deaf Heritage Month

The first UK Deaf Heritage Month is taking place in Devon in March 2010.

Deaf Heritage Month seeks to raise the awareness of and celebrate Deaf Culture.

Signed events and activities, are being planned across Devon at museums, archives, heritage and arts centres.
