In the interest of maintaining strong security protocols, the council encourages all staff and members of the public to bring to our attention, incidents involving the loss of personal or sensitive business information.

How we intend to handle your personal information

This information will be used for the purpose(s) of investigating the reported information security incident. This information may also be disclosed to other services of the council for the purposes of carrying forward a suitable investigation.
We intend to keep the information which you provide for 5 years. This information will be held securely and will not be disclosed to anyone other than those stated above, without your permission.
The information which you provide will be destroyed in a secure manner when the retention period has expired.
