Introduction to Computing Step 3

OBJECTIVES:

  • To gain an understanding of the different storage areas within the Devon Network:
  • File and Folder Management – personal and shared storage areas
  • Using My Computer and Windows Explorer – creating and using folders
  • Searching for Folders and Files
  • Housekeeping

AUDIENCE:

This course is aimed at members of staff who have been using a computer to create files and need to develop their knowledge of the Devon Network.  Delegates must be able to use the mouse and have some knowledge of using and accessing one of the Microsoft Office Applications, i.e. Word or Excel.  

DURATION:

Half day.

PRE-REQUISITES:

Access to a Personal Computer.  If new to using Computers you should attend Step 1 and Step 2 courses before attending this course.
