Presentation Software
Presentation software is used to give presentations usually in the form of a "slide show".
The software helps you design and produce the visual aids and handouts you may need to support your presentation. The visual aids should reinforce and complement what you say, not duplicate it. Text should be kept to a minimum using headings and bullet points. Wherever possible use graphics to get the message across - pictures, charts, maps and diagrams all work well.
Our training is will take you through creating slides, creating and manipulating graphics, animating and running your presentation.
Devon County Council's standard presentation application is Microsoft Powerpoint XP.
