Saturday night at the movies... and every other night too, there's a huge range of DVDs for you to choose from in Devon libraries. Hollywood blockbusters to TV comedy, James Bond to Flushed Away, Shakespeare to Lost - season 3, DVDs for kids and the young at heart and titles for anyone who enjoys painting, gardening, sport or other hobbies and leisure interests.

• You can hire up to 4 DVDs for a week (which saves you having to bring them back immediately after an overnight loan) - click on Media Fees for more details. If you keep them longer, there is a further daily charge. There are different categories of DVD, and each DVD case is clearly marked so that you know the hire rate.
• At present, children's DVDs may only be hired on a child's behalf by an adult. If you want to borrow an 18-certificate film, you have to be over 18 of course.
• We are now have a small selection of films on Blu-ray disc at Exeter Central and Barnstaple Libraries.
