Blood Borne Virus Awareness
Trainer: The Eddystone Trust
Learning outcomes:A one day introductory course to HIV, Hepatitis B (HBV) and Hepatitis C (HCV) focusing on transmission, testing, treatment, co infection, issues for people living with HIV/HBV/HCV and challenging discrimination. This course is designed to be either an introduction or refresher for all workers.

Time: 10am–4pm
Maximum number for this course: There are spaces available for foster carers on this multi-agency training programme which provides a good opportunity for carers to train alongside teachers, health professionals and other social care staff.
