Safeguarding Level 4: Attachment, High Criticism, Low Warmth
Trainer: Devon Local Children’s Safeguarding Board
Learning outcomes:
- Have an understanding of attachment theory.
- Identify attachment styles and behaviour or traits which can contribute towards a child being abused.
- Be able to consider the possible effects of high criticism and low warmth on family dynamics and inter-generational family patterns.
Participants must have completed the Safeguarding Level 3 Course, formerly the Child Protection Foundation Course, before enrolling.

Time: 9am–4.30pm
Maximum number for this course: This is a multi-agency training programme which provides a good opportunity for carers to train alongside teachers, health professionals and other social care staff. Please register your interest on the booking form, and the training clerk will be in touch.
