Depression and Anxiety in Children and Young People

Learning outcomes: This one day programme will provide participants with a better understanding of depression and anxiety in children and young people, and will:

  • consider what we mean by anxiety and depression
  • identify risk and protective factors relating to anxiety and depression
  • give participants more confidence to work, within their own setting and collaboratively with other professionals, with children and young people with anxiety and depression.
  • explore creative ways of working with children and young people who may be anxious or depressed.
