• Explore how caring for someone else’s child is different from your own.
• Identify what children and young people want and need to feel safe.
• Identify how foster carers and their families can keep a foster child safe and protect themselves from allegations – practical pointers for the carer – what is okay in this house (and in society).
• Explore the use of family safe caring policy.
