Complaints and Allegations
Carers are provided with written information on what happens when a complaint or allegation is made against them specifically as a carer, including the timescale and processes involved.
They are also provided with information on making a complaint to the Directorate on their own behalf, and on behalf of a child in placement.
Children and young people can access help through their social worker.
Statistics on complaints, allegations and their outcomes are held centrally by the County Child Protection Manager.
