"I was so suprised that there were websites made for me about Domestic Abuse."

There are lots of other websites out there that can give you information on Domestic Abuse. A selection of these are listed below.

If you would like to talk to someone, about any problem you might be experiencing, you can call Childline on 08001111. If you would like to find out about them, you can visit the Childline website

If you would like more information about what Domestic Abuse is, how it can affect you if you're going through it now (or if you've gone through it in the past) and where you can go for more help, you might want to visit The Hideout.

If you are aged between 14 – 25 years old you can find specialist, confidential individual support.

If one of your parents is being hit or abused in some way by their partner or ex partner they can get support from confidential, independent specialist support services. Once they are receiving help it is possible for additional support to be given to you, their children or step-children, called children’s outreach support.

If you are aged between 12 - 18 years old and are having difficulty controlling your behaviour because you have lived with violence and are finding yourself behaving violently, or not able to engage in respectful relationships with other young people or adults, you can ask to be part of a group. You can do this by calling the co-ordinator who will liaise with someone in your School, College, or Connexions PA or by speaking to Connexions or other professionals and asking them to refer you.
