Children in Care Awards 2012

Celebrating the achievements of Devon’s care leavers and children and young people in care

On 9 March 2012 we will be holding an event to celebrate the achievements of children and young people in our care. This is a scheme to recognise, and say well done for, real achievement for individual children and young people. Successful nominees will be awarded a certificate and voucher.

This is your opportunity to nominate a young person you think has achieved something significant for them over the last twelve months in one or more of these categories:

  • doing something which shows personal development
  • doing something well in sport, music, arts, social or leisure activities
  • doing something well at school or college.

Who can be nominated?

Children and young people aged 5-21 - or age 24 if in higher education - who have been looked after by Devon County Council for 13 or more weeks and are happy to be nominated.

How do I nominate?

Fill in the application form below on screen, save a copy and press submit to email it to cypspubs@devon.gov.uk or print it off, fill it out by hand and send it to:
