What Happens After School?

banner13

Although some young people with special needs may be able to stay at school until they are 19, most will leave in the academic year during which they are 16. At this time it can be difficult to know what will come next, and young people and their parents often experience a great deal of anxiety and uncertainty.

These page aims to raise awareness of the possibilities and opportunities that exist for young people with special needs once they have left school:

Skill: National Bureau for Students With Disabilities. Skill is a national charity promoting opportunities for young people and adults with any kind of disability in post-16 education, training and employment across the UK.
