Project Planning

Getting off the ground

You will be required to state on the application form how you intend to implement and manage your project. For example, have basic systems been set for the operation of the project? What structures will be put in place to ensure the project is run successfully? It is important that you establish this before the project begins. Details you will need to think about include:

Implementation

  • Eligibility criteria (if applicable)
  • Target beneficiaries (who the project aims to assist)
  • Timetable for delivery
  • Measuring progress

Management

  • What are the Partnership arrangements.
  • Who is responsible for delivery and how they can contribute to overall aims. How will the project be run? Will there be a Steering Group, a Working Group? How often will they meet? Who will project staff report to?
  • Are the financial management arrangements in place?
