This can widen your choice of funds as many are available to projects within specific areas of Devon.  It is therefore helpful to know which parish your project is in.

What are the aims of your project?
Each funding source has a clear set of objectives:  your project will need to help achieve these objectives if it is to receive support - you will need to demonstrate the benefits and value of your project.

Are you eligible to apply?
Most funds are allocated to partnerships of public-sector and not-for-profit organisations and direct support for individuals or private-sector companies is not usually possible - potential funders will need to know what type of organisation you represent.

Have you identified matched funding?
Funding is usually offered at a grant rate of around 45-50% - you will need to find other sources of funding to make up the total.
