Devon County Council is responding to the national broadband agenda by stimulating demand for broadband services amongst businesses and residents alike, looking at innovative ways of using its own networks to extend provision into rural communities and drawing upon European funding both to encourage business take up and to extend the provision of broadband into rural areas with private partners.
