4 The Mint Tel: 01392 213532 Pottery established in the centre of Exeter in 1981, two minutes walk from the Cathedral, producing thrown and hand-built decorative ceramics in stoneware and porcelain. The work ranges from tiny dishes to hold in the palm of your hand, to large coiled pots for conservatory and garden. Commissions welcome. Open: Visit anytime by appointment. Access: Good disabled access. Directions: From the city centre and Cathedral, walk down Fore Street towards the river. The Mint is a pedestrian lane on the right of the zebra crossing.
