14 The Gallery Tel: 01805 601331 14 the Gallery is a new venture by six local artists who have formed their own arts co-operative. The gallery is located within Torrington’s historic Pannier Market and is staffed by the members. Media exhibited by the six members include figurative, plant and seascape paintings in gouache, watercolour and acrylic respectively, the work of two ceramicists taking inspiration from the sea and plant forms, jewellery, cushions, bags and handmade cards. Commissions are most welcome. Other local artists are invited to exhibit their work and amongst others, turned wood, iron ware, lighting and textiles are currently on display. |

Open: Monday - Saturday 10am to 4pm Wednesday - 10am to 1pm
Access: Excellent, on the flat from two large car parks, with wheelchair access to the gallery. Public disabled toilet nearby. Easy access to the rest of the town with other craft outlets and exhibition space.
Parking: Spaces always available, 50p per hour.
Directions: In the centre of Great Torrington, the Pannier Market is accessed from the Town Square and from Barley Grove car park at the rear of the Pannier Market.
