HAVEN BANKS Outdoor Education Centre is situated in Exeter on the canal and specialises in activity-based courses for all ages and abilities. The Centre is approved by BCU and RYA. Activities offered include canoeing, sailing, windsurfing, caving, climbing and orienteering. Raft building and problem solving are other popular pursuits.
Overnight camps by canoe along the canal and residential visits at Exeter Youth Hostel are additional options. Transport can be provided for groups resident elsewhere, or for off-site activities. Individuals are welcome on evening classes and holiday schemes; groups from schools, clubs and other organisations can book activities at any time. Equipment has been carefully chosen to suit all sizes, ages and abilities. Haven Banks also has a permanent orienteering course and a climbing wall.
