Fostering
![]()
We provide safe, caring homes for children and young people who aren’t able to live with their birth families. There’s always a demand for our service – so we always welcome new Foster Carers.
It doesn’t matter what ethnic group you’re from – or if you’re married, divorced, living with a partner or single; gay or lesbian; own or rent your home; have a disability, a qualification or a job. All you need is a dedication to making vulnerable young lives better, and a spare room.
Meet some of our foster carers
Hear what fostering for Devon means to them in this short movie.
Come to an Information Evening
Talk to fostering social workers and foster carers, see a presentation, get your questions answered, have a coffee.
But please call us first if you can, so we know how many people to expect. Get dates and locations here.
FOSTER CARERS GET £600 COMPUTER GRANT!
Devon County Council is providing £600 towards a computer and internet connection for every fostering family. It’s to give the young people they look after access to educational opportunities, so they won’t be at a disadvantage.
