Description: It's not a race, it's not a test. Simply choose the books you like and when you have read them, chat to your local librarian about them. You are awarded a badge when you have read 10, 25, 50 and 75 books plus stickers at 40, 50 and 90 books. When you have finished your reading trail of 100 books you will get a special certificate and a gold badge!
Audience:Children aged 6+

Bookings: No need to book, just bring your first 4 books in to your local library.

Description: Come along with your baby or toddler for some singing and nursery rhyme fun! Sessions often followed by a short story or small craft activity.

Description: Come dressed as your favourite character from the Roald Dahl stories. Collect your medal and certificate. Eat scumdiddlyumptious food and drink your fill of Glubbage and Frobscottle.
Audience:All children who completed the Summer Reading Challenge at Combe Martin Library.
Cost: Free
Bookings: Let us know when you have completed the challenge and collect your invitation.

Title:Summer Reading Challenge - Fortnightly Fun crafts.
Date:Starting Friday July 22nd, then every second Friday until September.
Time: 13:00 - 14:00
Description: Inspired by the books of Roald Dahl we shall be making A giant Crocodile, A Combemartion Oompa loompa, Mr Twit's Beard, A Fantastic Feathered Roly-Poly Bird, Peachy Creatures and Super Seagulls, Dream Catchers, Giddy Giraffes and an Esio Trot.
Audience:All children who have signed up to the Summer reading Challenge.
Cost: Donations welcome
Bookings: All places must be booked in advance. Children under 8 years to be accompanied by an adult please.
