Composing Ringtones with Duncan Chave - Using computer based audio software to create original compositions suitable for Ringtones. Exploring composition techniques, including phrases, pulse, rhythm, timbre, texture and form, through the use of audio editing, midi sequencing, loops, mobile and music technology. There will be an emphasis on experimenting and playing with sounds to create individual tones. 60 workshop participants
