We have made detailed pledges for each of our top priorities. These give the targets which we aim to achieve by 2013 and include:
- 200–300 new jobs and 40,000 sq ft of extra business development space at Science Park and Sky Park
- training places for all 14–19 year olds at local skills centres
- 60% of all young people achieving five or more good GCSE passes
- 600 more specialist care beds and support for 2,500 more older people at home
- help for 8,000 families who have children with additional needs
- major road improvements including the Kingskerswell bypass and a commitment to 30% fewer potholes
- completion of the Exeter Waste to Energy plant
