Health Profile (JSNA)
The Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (JSNA) is produced annually by the Public Health Team. It contains a range of NHS Devon, Devon County Council and other local information for health related topics.
The last Place Survey was in 2008 and, although this is quite old, it provided useful and unique information. It ivolved information on people's perceptions of their local area and the local services they received.
The place survey was intended to be:
• Relevant to anyone living in the area
• Not specific to any one agency or service
• Not specific to any particular client group
The survey contained a standard set of questions, developed by the Audit Commission and Dept. for Communities and Local Government in consultation with any additional local questions inserted at the end of the questionnaire.
