East Stonehouse
East Stonehouse is located within Plymouth local authority area. The population was 3407 in 1801 15111 in 1901 . Figures for other years are available on the local studies website. The lay subsidy of 1524 valued the community at £07/10/06. In 1641/2 232 adult males signed the Protestation returns. A turnpike was established in 1751. Absorbed into Plymouth 1914. A market is recorded from 1822.
