There were some suggestions on how to improve the information about what is going on in the village such as:- more leaflets and posters; proper notice board at the bus stop; better display of notices on all notice boards.

"Keep notice board in narrows clean and tidy and up to date."

"Perhaps we need a Slapton Parish Website containing information on village life, village history, events, photo’s etc., along with a dedicated e-mail address."

EDITORS NOTE:

Some people have suggested a local/regular newsletter that should be sold at the Post Office or delivered. The level of awareness of Slapton Lines is unclear.

ACTION NEEDED: Set up a group to see how much interest there is for a Slapton Website.

Many people completed the slips at the back of the questionnaire. A great response!

There are 52 people (25%) of those who perform voluntary work in the parish - it is a most impressive list of a variety of interests.

ACTION NEEDED: There is enough support to start a Good Neighbour Scheme! - a working group needs to be formed to match volunteers to needs.

There is an opportunity for having a voluntary service co-ordinator.

37 parishioners would like to see allotments and 22 people have indicated an interest in having an allotment in the village.
