Who are we?
In total 234 males and 239 females over 11 years of age answered the questionnaire. 59% (103 households) live in the outer farming/rural areas of the Parish and 41% (72 households) live in the street lighting area.
Housing
In need of alternative accommodation
Only 8 households were in need of alternative accommodation - 2 required starter homes to buy,
2 required family homes to rent and 1 household wanted a family home to buy. The remaining three
requir either Residential Care or Sheltered Housing.
What kind of housing does Northlew need?
Each person could answer more than one item of this question. Of the 222 people who responded to
this question -
93 people (25%) think Northlew needs NO additional housing, 129 people (35%) think housing should be for local people, 89 peope (24%) think housing is needed for the young.
Adult Education/Training
67 people (18%) are definitely interested in taking vocational/adult training opportunities now or in the future. A further 76 people (21%) may be interested in the future.

Health & Social Services
On the whole congratulations to the Health Services. Transport to various surgeries is a problem
for 42 people who mention lack of personal transport. People experience difficulty at least
occasionally in getting to the following services:
