ACTION

Suggestions to be put forward to the steering committee who will try to identify if there are any funds available. The Estate has said that it would look to invest in the creation of units where appropriate if identified end users are known and an economic return can be realised for the investment.

An action plan is now required to promote enterprise and job opportunities and to develop this idea any appropriate ideas or suggestions should be passed to the Steering Group.

ACTION

From the results of the Appraisal it’s the majority view that tourism should be developed sympathetically within Molland to generate economic growth.

A group is now involved in the formation of a Molland leaflet with LEADER funding in a Tourism and Marketing initiative to put together a package to promote Molland and its facilities and to create further visitor attractions, heritage centre, cycle hire, walks, bed & breakfast, cream teas etc.

This has now been achieved with the publication of the Molland leaflet and with its own website.
