INTRODUCTION

The Molland Village Appraisal was delivered to all households on the Molland Electoral Roll. 36 questionnaires were returned which gave a response of 42%. The households responding comprised of 88 people of whom 77 were over 11 years old and therefore eligible to respond to the questionnaire.

This report provides a summary of the results together with the recommendations (made jointly by the Steering Group) and some relevant comments from respondents. The conclusions are what you have put forward.

Most of the issues identified in this Appraisal stimulated a high level of comment and there has been some considerable work assimilating and compiling this report.

Most issues covered now have a proposed ACTION to take the issue forward. Some can be achieved relatively easily, with minimal cost or impact implications; some however are more complex and require careful thought and examination and funding to achieve a conclusion. With all the issues and proposed ACTION the best interests of Molland must be borne in mind and this may not necessarily mean things continue to be done as they may have been done in the past.

It is proposed that this Appraisal and the proposed ACTIONS be regularly reviewed and progress of achievements be monitored and results circulated via Molland Murmurs or some other village medium.

The full list of results is available from the Steering Group should anyone wish to see them.
