The Youth Club
- 9 respondents attend the youth club.
- This figure seems low attendance at the Youth Club at the moment is higher than this. Does this mean that young peope didn't fill in the questionnaire, or that people who go to the Youth Club live outside the survey area?
- Many adults commented on the youth club facilities; 67 people saying they thought the facilities were poor' 51 thought they are reasonable' and 13 thoughtthey were good.
- Of those who gave an opinion on the opening hours of the Youth Club, 63% (51 people) do not think the opening hours are ok Opinion over whether it should be open 2, 6 or 7 nights a week split evenly between the three options.
- There are 7 people who would be willing to help organise the youth club.
ACTION: Caroline Knight to contact those who expressed an interestin working with the Youth Club and to investigate extending hours and getting more help. Ideas to be discussed via Newsletter.
Does Littleham need a young person's drop-in centre?
- Opinions varied a little depending on whether you live in the old village or the estate.

- Overall, 304 people said yes to a Drop-in centre, 52 people said no, and 111 people had no opinion
ACTION: because of the low number of young peope who answered this question it is not clear what the young people actually want. EDDC Community Development Officer & WPC Wright to work with Littleham community to work out options. Views to be sought through the newsletter.
If possible, should there be open spaces for people to meet & play?
- Those that said yes, suggested the following sites:
The Crescent Green; School football pitch; village hall field; behind Liverton Business Park; between magnolia Av. and the Crescent; around the old Railway line; the old tip off Dinan Way; old Clark's near Tesco's; Village Field Field behind the Owl's Nest Centre; the green opposite Tesco's; near the bridge at Capel Lane.
- Areas where sites would not be wanted include:
The Crescent Green; School football pitch; in Littleham Village; any grassed areas because of dogs mess; anywhere near main roads and where old people live; Salterton Road grass area; where the park is now; behind flats; the greens in Liverton Close.
