HouseRegarding the housing stock, limited growth is preferred, with 47% wanting housing stock for the next 10 years to remain the same, 24% want up to 10 dwellings mainly sold on a restricted basis e.g. not to be used as a holiday home.

Housing needs:

  • 36% think there is no housing need
  • 35% think the need is for local people
  • 22% think the need is for young people
  • 18% think the need is for low-income families
  • 12% think the need is for the elderly
  • 15% think the need is for first time buyers
  • 5% think the need is for the disabled

10 households have many problems with flooding.

57% of households are in the Neighbourhood Watch Scheme.

Education & Training

  • Blackboard11 children attend Nursery School
  • 47 children attend Primary School
  • 42 children attend Secondary School
  • 19 people attend University/Polytechnic
  • 14 people attend training courses

62 children attend out of school activities but 9 households miss out because of lack of public transport or because of the distance between the home and the school.
