INTRODUCTION
It was early in November 2000 that a meeting took place in the Community Hall to discuss the possibility of conducting a Parish Appraisal.
Over 20 expressed interest and they were whittled down to form a small enthusiastic working group guided and advised by Mike Moore, Parish Councillor and Mike Knight from The Community Council of Devon.
The questions and layout were finalised after months of research and discussion.
The proposed questionnaire was then tested by some random volunteers to see how it would work in practice. The questionnaire was then delivered, completed by most and returned (the return was a very creditable 75%).
The results were then analysed by The Community Council of Devon and this report has eventually been written for us all.The specific comments and suggestions received have been passed on to the appropriate authorities or bodies.
