GENERAL COMMENTS

As well as comments on specific questions, most respondents added other items of interest. A few are listed below:

Greenfields need to be protected from urbanisation’
‘Village housing character needs to be protected’
‘Yes we would like overhead cables replaced with underground cables, but leave some for the swallows’
‘Rivers, streams and lakes should be protected’
‘Another minor grouse! Hedges are cut but often the debris is left on the road which becomes very slippery’
‘Buses are a poor alternative to cars for wheelchair users’
‘We moved to Dousland only four months ago and we already feel ‘at home’ here. The neighbours are helpful but not intrusive, and the area is quiet and beautiful’
